Cheerleading

Cheerleading is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, and is an athletic mixture of gymnastics, acrobatics, dance and high energy stunts! Cheerleading is normally seen as a dance sport, normally performed by sideline cheerleaders supporting other sorts teams. At Level Up, we cater mainly for Allstar Cheerleading, which is a highly competitive sport in which teams of athletes compete against other teams from across the UK and across the world.

Level Up Academy is the home of our partner organisation, Aviators Cheer, a cheer coaching organisation that has been training athletes of all ages and competing for over 9 years. Alongside Aviators Cheer, we at Level Up are committed to pushing the boundaries of UK cheer, progressing the sport and providing the very best in cheer coaching.

Recreational classes for beginners cover the basics of cheerleading, and are perfect for beginners. Our focus on these classes is building strong foundations, gaining skills and also having a lot of fun! Recreational classes are ideal for those wanting to try cheer, but may not be able to commit to a full time competitive squad. We cover stunting, dance, jumps, and tumbling.

Joining the recreational classes are a great way to access our elite programme! Our partners Aviators Cheer, compete both nationally and internationally and hold try outs for their teams a number of times a year. Cheerfest camps

Level Up Academy aims to act as a hub for cheerleading in the region in order to progress the sport as a whole and we maintain close links with all our local cheer organisations. We hold a number of highly successful skills camps throughout the year where we bring together the cheer community, work skills and have a lot of fun!

During these camps, we give athletes the opportunity to work higher level skills and try things they might not have worked before. Each camp is different but normally consists of different workshops focusing on a different aspect of cheerleading. We often bring in special guest coaches from other organisations to offer a wide range of expertise and have previously brought over athletes and coaches from as far away as America!

Facility hire

Level Up Academy is the most fully equipped facility in the region for cheerleading. We have a full size 9 panel power sprung floor, a tumble strip that goes into our foam pit, an Olympic sized trampoline for working basket and tumble skills and a whole host of crash mat and rebound equipment.

Our venue is available for teams and organisations to rent and we can also provide coaching if necessary. Hire costs vary depending on times and duration so please email us at hello@golevelup.co.uk to enquire.
